RECORDING with Ronnydewwy, Young Milla, DaChoyce, Rowu and KDap at Cruise Control Studios
🎙️ Coming Full Circle: Recording Session at Cruise Control Studios
What a special day — we just wrapped up a recording session at Cruise Control Studios in Amsterdam, and the energy was absolutely electric. Having some of the most creative minds in the room — Ronnydewwy, Young Milla, Dachoyce, Rowu, and Kdap — made the session feel like a celebration of sound, culture, and collaboration.
A Studio With History for Me
Cruise Control isn’t just any studio — it holds a meaningful place in my journey. This was one of the earliest studios I worked in, back when I was recording with Slim Kofi, and later while working on projects for Geolier, including “Emmanuelle” with Hippy Jack. Coming back now, with fresh faces and new creative energy, it felt like a homecoming.
Bringing International Flavor to the Session
One of the highlights of the day was how international everything felt. With artists and producers coming from different backgrounds, we naturally switched between English, Spanish, Dutch — and sometimes even mixed them mid-conversation. That linguistic diversity didn’t just make the studio feel like a global gathering — it fueled creativity, too.
We had a blast bouncing ideas off each other, experimenting with melodies, and pushing boundaries. What started as a recording session turned into a true cultural jam.
Spotlight on the Talent
Here are some of the key players who made this session unforgettable:
Ronnydewwy: A producer with a knack for soulful, dynamic instrumentals and a fresh sound. His creative vision brought a ton of depth to the tracks we worked on.
Dachoyce: A truly international artist with Brazilian roots, based between Barcelona and Amsterdam. Her style blends Latin rhythms, urban energy, and emotional storytelling — and she brought all of that into the session.
Rowu: An emerging artist whose passion and drive shine through in his approach to music. His presence added a heartfelt and honest layer to our collaboration.
Kdap: A versatile producer/artist who contributed strong stylistic ideas and helped elevate the session’s vibe.
Why This Session Mattered
Creativity & Synergy: The mix of languages, cultures, and musical tastes brought out something unique.
Growth & Reflection: Returning to a familiar studio like Cruise Control made me reflect on how far I’ve come, while pushing forward into new territory.
Deep Connections: Beyond just making music, we bonded. This wasn’t just business — it was friendship, inspiration, and a shared creative mission.
Looking Ahead
We’re beyond excited about what comes next: finishing production, mixing, and preparing for release. This session felt like a major milestone — not just for the music, but for our collective journey.
Stay tuned, because we’re just getting started.
